Sheila Diaz FPQP®

Director of Operations, Compliance

Sheila was born and raised in Puerto Rico and began her career in banking at the age of seventeen. While working fulltime, she put herself through college, studying administration at Community College before attending Pensacola Christian College and later earning a Theology diploma from Maryland Bible College. Her twelve years in banking — including time in the investment department of a commercial bank — sparked her passion for investment operations and laid the foundation for her diverse professional path.

Over the course of her career, Sheila has held roles in investment operations, institutional operations, administration, insurance sales, and travel sales. She earned the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP®) designation in April 2021 and is known for her strong work ethic, steady presence, and commitment to serving clients and colleagues with care and professionalism.

Sheila currently resides in Parkville and is a proud mother to a daughter in her third year of college. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, especially on cruises. She is active in her community, volunteering as a small group leader for first graders at her local church and serving as a cohort representative for the UMBC Meyerhoff Scholar Parent Association.
